8th Annual Power of Pink Breakfast Presented by the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation at Aventura Mall Nordstrom's Cafe Bistro. The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation will kickoff October Breast Cancer Awareness month with the 8th Annual "Power of Pink Breakfast" on Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 9:30am-11:00am at the Aventura Mall Nordstrom's Cafe Bistro. The program will feature a breakfast buffet, makeovers, chance drawings, and a special presentation from Nordstrom's Johnetta Shearer. The cost for attendance is $10 in advance; $15 at the door.

West Central Florida’s six leading breast cancer champions are being honored at the annual Shades of Pink” Cocktail and Awards Reception presented by the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF), Saturday, June 11 from 7pm - 10:30pm at the Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI) 4801 East Fowler Avenue, Tampa, FL 33617. The “Shades of Pink” promises to be a great evening of fun, food, drinks, and learning as we honor West Central Florida’s leading breast cancer Champions!

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) presented their 2nd Annual 2011 "Education and Advocacy Day Conference" on Saturday, April 16th at the Hilton Miami Downtown from 9am to 4pm. The one-day conference was a huge success; it not only provided community education and fun, but supported the organization’s mission to end breast cancer through advocacy, education, and research.

Funding is available for projects specific to breast health and/or breast cancer serving the uninsured and under- insured population in Florida.
