5 Florida Advocates receive funding to advance
local breast cancer advocacy and education in Florida

North Miami, FL (October 3, 2012) - The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) is proud to announce the recently approved Jane Torres Scholarship Fund (JTSF) awardees.
5 Floridians have been awarded travel scholarships totaling over $1,670 to attend either the San Antonio Breast Symposium in December 2012 or The Society of Integrative Oncology 2012 meeting. The JTSF was established to afford advocates from around the State of Florida the opportunity for financial assistance to attend training seminars, workshops or conferences that will enhance local education and advocacy efforts.
