Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program

The Florida Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (BCCEDP) makes it easy to get the breast and cervical cancer screenings that doctors recommend. The screenings are free or low cost if you meet program eligibility requirements. There are many BCCEDP sites located throughout Florida.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Women ages 50-64
  • No insurance
  • Income limitations

*Requirements may vary based on location. Call your local health department to see if you meet your specific county's requirements.
*If you have symptoms, but do not fit the age requirements, check with your county to see if they are accepting lower age limits or if any other programs that meet your needs are available.

To see if you qualify  and  to get more information on the program, contact your County Health Department.  Find the phone number by visiting the state of Florida Department of Health website: http://www.floridahealth.gov/diseases-and-conditions/cancer/breast-cancer/bccedp.html.
