2016 Request for Scientific Grant Applications

Proposals Now Being Accepted

The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation is currently offering scientific grants of up to $200,000 total per each grant, for a grant period of up to 2 years, for innovative projects in the areas of: basic, clinical, and translational breast cancer research, epidemiological studies of breast cancer, possible links between breast cancer and the environment, psycho-immunological research and innovative awards, and idea grants.

 

Grant applications submitted to FBCF must have been previously been submitted to the NIH or DOD during the past two calendar years (2014 and 2015) that were scored, but not funded. Review sheets for the unfunded project must be included in this submission package. Applicants must include information on how completion of this proposed project (pilot study, initial aims, small study, etc...) will enhance the overall re-submission of future projects.

 

Application Deadline is March 16, 2016

Applications must be postmarked by this date to be accepted.
