Kick off October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month by supporting the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) at this year's Race 2 Cure in Central Florida! Organized by the Orlando Sports Foundation (OSF), an organization dedicated to raising funding and awareness for cancer research, the race will be a timed 5K and all runners, walkers, and cancer survivors are invited to participate and help raise money for a cure.

FBCF is the proud sponsor of this year's Tribute Walk! Join us as we honor survivors, celebrate life, and remember those we have lost to breast cancer.

The Orlando Sports Foundation, Red Pointer Productions, and FBCF will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation for the Race 2 Cure. We will be following guidelines from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the state of Florida. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our runners, staff, and partners. The Race 2 Cure is still scheduled for September 27th and we will keep you up-to-date if there are any changes.

About The Orlando Sports Foundation:
The Orlando Sports Foundation is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to raising funding and awareness for cancer research. Their mission is to bring teams together to find a cure for cancer.

The signature event is put on by the Orlando Sports Foundation. The college football bowl game is played on the third Saturday each December at Exploria Stadium. It has been used as a platform to raise funds for cancer research. Through four years, over $3.77 million has been raised for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Those funds have been distributed internationally, which includes $1.2 million to local researcher and FBCF Board Director, Dr. Annette Khaled at the UCF College of Medicine.

Parking:
From 17/92 turn down 3rd street at the “Burger King Light” then travel down to either Palmetto Avenue or Sanford Avenue. Turn left at either road, where they will be met with Police Officers working the Road Closures. Inform the officers you are attending the 5k and the police will instruct them where they will park

Weather Policy:
The JA Edwards of America Race 2 Cure presented by FFVA Mutual and Florida Breast Cancer Foundation Tribute Walk will take place rain or shine. If cancellation of the event is warranted due to dangerous weather conditions, announcements will be made race day at the top of the race site. The event will not be canceled in advance. All decisions regarding cancellation will be made on site, race day. In the event of a race day cancellation, there are no refunds and registrations are considered a donation to the Orlando Sports Foundation.
