Each year, FBCF releases funding to provide Education Grants for nonprofit community-based organizations in the state of Florida. Ensuring Floridians receive breast health education is one of the fundamental pillars of the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation's mission. ALL women and men should have access to information that will empower them to be advocates for their own health by providing the tools necessary to assess their individual risk and ability to recognize early signs and symptoms of breast cancer, regardless of income or where they live. Grants are awarded in support of innovative education programs throughout Florida that aim to reach populations who would not otherwise have access to this potentially lifesaving information.
