Congratulations to Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) President & CEO, Tracy Jacim, for being named one of this year's Super Women by Orlando Family Magazine (OFM). OFM selected 14 local ladies who are working for their communities, assisting people in need, while leading the way for the next generation of Super Women.
Ms. Jacim’s career has been highlighted by her passion, compassion, and ability to advocate for those in need of help. Before becoming Florida Breast Cancer Foundation's President and CEO, Jacim served communities as a journalist, writing, anchoring and reporting television and digital and print news in San Francisco, Tampa, Buffalo, and Fox 35 in Orlando. This recognition is one more in a list of recognitions and awards she has received for her tireless efforts helping those in need maneuver the bureaucratic red tape that can exist in the healthcare industry, and for helping empower those battling against disease to get the treatment and support they need.
We here at the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation are proud to have her leadership, dedication, and passion for positive change as we work to transform the landscape in the breast cancer realm, while ensuring breast cancer patients and their families have the support they need every step of the way in their journeys. Ms. Jacim is proud to receive such an honor, but says, "The real super Super Women (and Super Men ) are our survivors and tireless volunteers. I thank them for the privilege of allowing me to serve them and work alongside them." Read the full article here.
