Contact Your Legislators

Letters to elected officials have been one of the most powerful tools for breast cancer advocates and are considered to be more effective than phone calls and e-mail. Staff members generally respond to every letter and consider them to be a very important measure of constituent opinion. The number of letters that have streamed into the offices of elected officials on the issue of breast cancer often have made a critical difference in gaining a legislator's support.
