The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation (FBCF) is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Orlando Sports Foundation (OSF) and the Race 2 Cure in Central Florida for a second year. FBCF partnered with OSF at the inaugural Race 2 Cure in 2019 and this year, FBCF is the proud sponsor of the Tribute Walk.

The Race 2 Cure, to be held the third week of September at Fort Mellon Park in Sanford and online, is the perfect kick-off to October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join us as we honor survivors, celebrate life, and remember those we have lost to breast cancer. Join us as we celebrate YOU. For every ticket sold through FBCF’s special link, OSF WILL DONATE 50% BACK TO FBCF.

The OSF, whose aim is to bring teams together to find a cure for cancer, is a non-profit membership organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer research. The OSF holds several events throughout the year, including the Cure Bowl which is an NCAA college football bowl game played each December at Exploria Stadium.

We are honored to work alongside OSF whose mission closely parallels FBCF’s mission to end the suffering caused by breast cancer through research, education, advocacy, and direct services. Only by working together and forging strong community partnerships will we continue to change the landscape.

The OSF and FBCF will be closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation for the Race 2 Cure. We will be following guidelines from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the state of Florida. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our runners, staff, and partners. The Race 2 Cure is still scheduled for September 27th and we will keep you up-to-date if there are any changes.
